Our crowdfunding campaign is up and running at ReadyFundGo Bow & Curtsy for our Bow & Curtsy Implementation Trials!
The trials, to be held over up to six Aged Care Facilities over six weeks from 7th September - 16th October will be an opportunity to study how we deliver our program in a care setting. It will allow us to find gaps in our understanding, develop appropriate occupational safety procedures, streamline our set up and pack up, and find the optimal way to deliver our service to bring the most enjoyment and benefit to folks in care.
We will submit an abstract to Art Health Australia's annual conference The Art of Good Health and Wellbeing, held in Sydney from 17-19 November, and present both oral and poster presentations if accepted. We will seek a commercial sponsor to help with the conference fees, and have added a travel component to our crowdfunding campaign.
We are offering care centres a discounted service rate for supporting our trials, and are using a combination of crowdfunding and underwriting with our New Enterprise Incentive Scheme stipend in order to supplement our commercial fee for service. This will enable centres to host us more frequently than their entertainment budgets would otherwise allow, and to accept that our service is still under construction.
Crowdfunding will provide a valuable opportunity to show community support for our program, which will be of great benefit to our grant applications for 2016. We would be most grateful for you support and are offering some great rewards to thank you for your kindness. Please check out the ReadyFundGo Bow & Curtsy link for further details and help us bring music and memories to folks in care.
