We detoured through Bowraville on the way home from Sydney, and stayed in this magnificent pub. Our room overlooked the Bowraville Theatre, the starting point of the Freedom Ride fifty years ago in 1965.  We played some songs in the dining room and the manager pointed a speaker at us and piped us into the bar. Great fun, and a lot of history upon which to reflect.
