Ciderville is the fourth single from the Small Town Tales album, released to radio by CRS Publicity on CRS DD184. The forest footage was shot mid-winter at Dry Oaky Creek, between Barraba and Bundarra NSW. The location is eerily beautiful, with cattle grazing the dry creek beds amongst nettles, bloodwood trees, and a few waterholes that have survived the drought. Supplemental footage was shot at our Unumgar Studios in the Northern Rivers of NSW. The video depicts an inner landscape where loss and regret are overcome by determination and renewed purpose.
In The Dead Of Night
In The Dead of Night is a song shrouded in magic, mystery and morbid curiosity, emerging from the mists of the McPherson Ranges. Written by Geoffrey Bates, the song arose as if from a dream. It was not until the discovery of some archival news articles that the song’s meaning and story became clear. In The Dead Of Night is the third single from the Small Town Tales album, released to radio and digital media through The A&R Department.
Minus Three, the second radio single from the Small Town Tales album, was released through Checked Label Services on 17th November 2018. The instrumental, by Kym Watling, recreates the feelings of cold mornings when its minus three degrees (C) at Unumgar. The sound of bare feet hitting a cold floor, coffee on the brew, and fresh firewood being piled on last nights embers.
